COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Investigators say the death of a 94-year-old woman in her Columbia home this past weekend has been ruled a homicide after evidence found at the victim’s autopsy. Police say a relative found Robbie Atkinson dead Saturday and called 911. Investigators didn't initially see any signs of foul play, but Richland County Coroner Nadia Rutherford says evidence from an autopsy determined someone killed Atkinson. She wouldn't give more details, saying that could jeopardize the police investigation. The coroner says Atkinson lived in a busy Columbia neighborhood and asked anyone with information to call authorities.
